Sebes

Sebes is a pretty village an hours drive from Sibiu. It has a church dating from the Middle Ages, when the Saxons came over from Germany and settled in the region. As it was a very fertile prairie, other groups of people tried to invade, and settlers took refuge in the fortresses around the church. Besides this, you can have a look round the typical Saxon houses which are very large.
