Seafront

Camogli, come tantissime altre località liguri, si affaccia direttamente sul mar Tirreno e, da alcuni punti ben precisi del paese, è possibile godere di bellissime panoramiche sul blu del Mediterraneo. Sicuramente il principale punto di osservazione è il lungomare che si sviluppa per varie centinaia di metri. Durante le giornate più ventose, le onde frustano con violenza la spiaggia fino a toccare anche la piccola roccaforte usata un tempo per gli avvistamenti e la difesa della città. Da questa antica costruzione difensiva, si può ammirare la quiete del borgo e, allo stesso tempo, anche il Mediterraneo sotto di voi. Salendo poi verso il centro storico, la visuale diventa più ampia anche se limitata in parte dalle pareti delle case pastello. Più in alto si va e più il mare sembra distante ma il contrasto fra le abitazioni dei pescatori, quelle nuove residenziali e la forza del mar Tirreno è sempre evidente e ricorda i racconti alle bettole del porticciolo narrati con così tanta passione dai vecchi pescatori. Godetevelo da una bella panchina nel parco pubblico di Camogli.

Camogli, like many other places in Liguria, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and, by some very specific points of the country, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the blue Mediterranean. Surely the main point of observation is the promenade which stretches for several hundred meters. During the windiest days, the waves lashing the beach with violence until it touches even the small stronghold once used for the sightings and the defense of the city. From this ancient defensive building, you can enjoy the tranquility of the village and at the same time, even the Mediterranean below you. Then climbing towards the old town, the view becomes wider though limited in part from the walls of pastel houses. The higher you go the more the sea seems distant but the contrast between the homes of fishermen, those new residential and strength of the Tyrrhenian Sea is not always obvious and remembers the stories told in the taverns of the harbor so much passion from the old fishermen. Enjoy it as a nice bench in the public park of Camogli.

Camogli è una bella località di mare che si trova in Liguria. In quanto località marina, la parte migliore della cittadina è sicuramente il lungomare, bellissimo da attraversare durante tranquille passeggiate spensierate, circondati da negozietti, focaccerie, bar e, chiaramente, un incantevole specchio d’acqua.

Camogli is a beautiful seaside resort located in Liguria. As a seaside resort, the best part of the town is definitely the seafront, beautiful to cross during quiet carefree walks, surrounded by shops, focaccerie, bars and, of course, an enchanting stretch of water.

Ci sono una libreria interessante che vende anche libri dedicati al mare e un negozio di ceramica che vende pitti, appendi abiti, orecchini. Davvero molto tipico e carino.

There is an interesting bookshop that also sells books dedicated to the sea and a ceramic shop that sells pictics, clothes hangers, earrings. Really very typical and cute.
