The oldest building in Bradford
This small stone church is the oldest building in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. It's a place of great historical interest, as it is considered the best-preserved Saxon building in the country. The church is now dedicated to St Lawrence, and after several renovations and restorations, still holds its original eleventh-century altar. Admission is free, but visitors are asked to leave a voluntary donation. In the garden there are a number of tombs, some also dating back to Saxon times.
