Sax Castle

This castle dominates the town of Sax. You can practically see it from any corner of the city. It’s located at the top of a hill, built on a base of natural rock. From above, you can see off into the distance of the Sierra del Collada, which is dominated by the Cabrera peak, almost 1,000 meters hight. The day I went it was closed and I could only take pictures from the surround area. There’s a two-star hotel nearby where we were able to stay.

A Nice Mountain Peak
The day I visited the castle it was closed, so I couldn’t visit it on the inside, but I thought it was very pretty on the outside and magnificent at night. I go a lot to Burgos and when we come back we pass the towns of Alicante and see the illuminated castles, which is wonderful.
