Roman Bridge
When entering the town of São João de TAROUCA from the EN 329, in the deepest part of the valley and surrounded by vineyards, you can find a roman bridge built over the river Varosa. It was built with granite stones and has arches eyes. The center arch is much larger and high than the sides. The rest of the river has several similar Romanesque bridges passing through the various villages.
