Worth a visit
The town of Amalfi boasts many architectural treasures, both natural, and cultural. The smell of the sea and of lemons - widely grown in the region - fill the air. Local crafts also tend to be very successful, and the cuisine is delicious. The pearl of the Amalfi coast, the city has a long maritime tradition. Buildings protect the central square from the wind, and young people gather at the weekend at the fountain in the middle.
