Much nature and unique places
Isla Santa María is located off the coast of Arauco Province in VIII Region del Biobío, Chile. We left a group of college friends to explore and walked everywhere. We took the boat in Lota and after 2 hours arrived at the cove of the island, immediately we caused excitement (a large number of tourists arriving on an island with a small population, plus we didn't look like inhabitants of the area). A tractor took us and our things up to a camp which was quite far from the city, but where you can get things to eat, there are also police and a small hospital with grounds, we would be located almost across the island.
The walk was worth it when we arrived, we expected a perfect sunset with natural cliffs and fine sand ramparts around the edge of the island, it was a perfect place! The next day we went to visit it and were kept enchanted by the landscape are very secluded beaches. Much nature and unique places.
