Santa Maria del Rosario Church

The Santa Maria del Rosario Church is better known as Gesuati Church. It's located in the Dorsoduro district of Zattere along the canal. It is the largest monastery complex built in the eighteenth century. It was built to replace an old building of the Dominicans, that no longer had the sufficient amount of space to accommodate all of the faithful. The architect Giorgio Massari did the interior decoration with the help of great artists such as Giambattista Tiepolo and Geanmaria Morlaiter.
