A Pure Romanesque style
The Romanesque style is in its pure state in Blavet. The hundred year old chapels and fountains make a visit romantic and full of historical flavour. The fountains, once sacred to the Celts invite foreigners to lose themselves between the trails and gorges to the sea as a backdrop of a unique journey. Following the river Blavet, and carved into the rock, we find the chapel of St. Gilda, which is a very careful and ornate temple inside the rock, that immerses you in a mystical room. You'll cringe as you walk in. It's more than 600 years old and has had several reconstructions, but has retained its spirit.
