One of the most beautiful towers of Rome
This church was founded in the tenth century on part of Hadrian's famous temple dedicated to Venus and Rome. It's at the entrance to the Roman Forum and its current name was given in the seventeenth century when Saint buried Francesca Romana was buried inside. What makes this so remarkable is its beautiful "campanile" richly decorated, Romanesque and polychromatic. It's one of the most beautiful and better preserved towers in Rome. I recommend observing for a moment the beauty of this brick tower, which is over 1,000 years old.
