En contraste con el moderno edificio...
En contraste con el moderno edificio del [poi=90375]Ayuntamiento[/poi], se encuentra la iglesia parroquial, en la zona alta del pueblo desde donde hay unas buenas vistas de la comarca y de la carretera nacional. Fue construida sobre los restos de otra anterior, románica, y su aspecto actual es fruto de las reconstrucciones del año 1.800, por lo que hay una mezcla de estilos. De la época románica quedan parte del ábside y del campanario; en el XVIII se alargó la nave principal uniéndola con la torre.
Lo más llamativo es su magnífica espadaña y el pórtico lateral bajo el que se encuentra una bonita puerta con un arco algo apuntado que marca la transición al gótico. Pueden verse en la fachada los escudos de armas que de los primeros señores del lugar, Los Pereruela, y los posteriores Docampo-Sotomayor. En el interior hay varios retablos barrocos.
In contrast to the modern Town Hall, it is the parish church, in the upper area of the town where there are good views of the region and the national highway. It was built on the remains of an earlier Romanesque, and its present appearance is the result of reconstructions of the year 1800, so there is a mixture of styles.
