Santa Ana Castle
The Castle of Santa Ana, also known as Las Roquetas, is a 17th century fortification which for years served as a refuge for the few inhabitants of the municipality residing in the port area. A fire destroyed most of it, leaving only one of the towers that has since been preserved and integrated into the project of recovery of this historic facility, completed in May 2003. Now, the castle has lots of showrooms exhibiting interesting paintings, photographs and sculptures from the local area. Of particular beauty is the courtyard, which hosts concerts and theatrical performances mainly during the summer.
