Church basement with a crypt
The church basement has the crypt and the core of the catacombs. The summer visit is 9 to 12h and 15 to 20h, 18h in winter. The crypt altar keeps a sarcophagus containing the relics of the saint, decorated with marble columns of buildings from many times. The catacombs have drawings modifying Punic hypogea. The tours are irregular and detailled. The tombs indicates that furon was used many times. It preserves some original pictorial remains. Legend has it that the saint was praying here when the Roman soldiers arrested him. The ticket costs 2.5 euro per person.
