Sansui Ryokan hotel

Clean and comfortable, the Sansui Ryokkan is a traditional boarding house especially recommended for its excellent location. It's not in the centre, but it's a five minute walk from the Peace Park, a convenient location for visiting the island of Miyajima and the famous shrine of Itsukushima. Breakfast costs extra, and must be ordered the day before. It has shared bathrooms. The rooms have Japanese TV channels, and be aware that in winter, like in all hostels in this category, there is no heating. The owner is very friendly and does his best to speak English. Directions: the number two tram from the station (for Miyajima-guchi), get off at Koami-cho.
