An interesting Cuban town
San Salvador de Bayamo is the second village ever founded in Cuba, on November 5, 1513 by Diego Velázquez. Due to the navigation conditions allowed by the Bayamo River, the town quickly flourished, along with Santiago de Cuba, which was, at the time, the capital of the colony.
