San Nicoás y San Gregorio Streets
If during your visit to Pamplona you want to enjoy the old part of the "bar hopping", which happens here, or you want to try some good wines or beers accompanied by some succulent "pintxos", you cannot miss the streets of San Nicolas and San Gregorio. St. Nicholas Street can be accessed from the Plaza del Castillo, the true heart of Pamplona. The street of San Gregorio is a continuation of St. Nicholas, St Nicholas Square is the only thing that separates these two streets. In this square you can enjoy the view of the church-fortress of the same name. Along these streets, on both sides, there are countless bars, taverns, pubs and restaurants with a very good atmosphere at virtually all hours of the day but especially midday, when people are having their aperitif or "vermouth", and evenings weekends.
