Built in the 18th century
This church is known as the Parish of Madalena, because it is in that neighborhood. It was built in the 18th century as a project by the military engineer Távoras Tomé e Abreu. It has a magnificent Baroque façade, the facade is topped by a triangular pediment with the coat of arms of King João V, as it was the royal chapel.
