Gem of the Ligurian
San Fruttuoso Beach is a gem of the Ligurian, close to the famous Cinque Terre. You can only arrive by ocean or walking 2 hours by the Mediterranean, that is the reserve of Monte di Portofino. It has a fantastic Benedictine monastery which houses the tombs of the Doria family. It is a magical place, and I recommend to go in September or in October. On the way back the ship left us in Camogli, where you can eat al formaggio focaccio sitting at the fishing port in the company of a gable.
