A very nice zoo
The San Francisco Zoo does its best to preserve the best possible conditions for the animals to live. It's not always easy to see animals out of their natural habitat, without the freedom they deserve, but I really felt that this zoo does a good job. It's all very well-organized, and throughout the day you can watch handlers feeding the animals. There are plenty of information points. I really enjoyed the fifth zone, the petting zoo, which is for kids, but has plenty to make adults happy, too. Goats, sheep, ducks, etc wander loose and you can walk among them!
