3 reviews of San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park

Full of Maritime History

In San Francisco, the Fisherman's Wharf area is extremely popular with tourists. We preferred this area, a few steps away, which is a much less crowded but equally interesting place: a dock where boats of all sizes are moored. Many historical boats have been renovated and can be visited. The exhibits are fascinating, and from time to time passionate locals give tours, making the maritime history really come to life.
