1 review of San Diego Natural History Museum

Fascinating and Educational

I was lucky enough to be visiting San Diego at a time when there was a fascinating exhibit being hosted at The San Diego Natural History Museum - otherwise known as the NAT. The Discovery of King Tut was on the second stop on its American tour, and I decided to see it. What I didn't expect was to spend a total of four hours at this museum. Admission for an adult is generally $17 - although it was $27 due to the Tut exhibit - and includes unlimited access to all 5 floors of the museum, which features both permanent and visiting exhibits, as well as the Giant-Screen Theatre, which shows a variety of different short but educational documentaries daily.

I spent about an hour touring the other exhibits (which included a fascinating one on Skulls, Nature Photography and Fossils), and then spent over an hour in the King Tut Exhibit. The rest of my visit was spent watching the three documentaries featured in the theatre. The NAT is absolutely worth the time and the money if you're a nature nerd like me - don't miss it!
