A magnificent dinner
During one of my many visits to the Asturian city of Gijon, we decided to go out to dinner late, without having booked anything. Finding space for seven people on a Saturday night at the last minute isn't an easy task, and after a lot of searching, we finally found a space available in San Bernardo IV. The restaurant San Bernardo IV, named for its location at 4, Calle San Bernardo, is in the heart of the city, next to the Plaza Mayor and the Town Hall. Among the many dishes that were on the menu, we decided to ask for scrambled eggs with mushrooms, garlic and shrimp, scorpion fish cake accompanied by cocktail sauce and mayonnaise, cuttlefish casserole, eel and shrimp with garlic, battered monkfish, ham croquettes, and scallops accompanied by chips and roasted red peppers.
