San Bartolomé Church

This is the main monument in Benicarlo. It was completed in 1743, replacing the previous church. The Baroque façade has spiral columns on its sides. The slender tower is octagonal. It has a single nave on which stands a dome and eight side chapels, of particular interest the Chapel of San Antonio Abad and the Chapel of the Virgen del Carmen. The highlights of the works of art include a Nazarene, Jose Esteve Bonet, and various pieces of jewelry from the XVI century.
