Salto de Poveda

Poveda de la Sierra es un pueblecito encantador situado en pleno Parque Natural del Alto Tajo. Un sitio ideal, por cierto, para alojarte en alguna de sus casas rurales. Está casi en la frontera con la Serranía de Cuenca y, además, está muy cerquita de uno de los sitios más espectaculares de la comarca: El Salto. Para llegar hay que tomar, con el coche hablando, una pista forestal en muy buen estado. Sólo lleva unos minutos. Y, de repente, se ve al fondo, a la izquierda, una cascada. “Será ahí”, piensas. Y ahí es. Se llega a un parking y a una zona de acampada en bungalows en verano, una zona recreativa. Se andan unos minutos y te dispones a bajar hacia lo que es una presa y una cascada natural bellísima. Uno de los sitios más fotogénicos de la zona que te provoca unas sensaciones increíbles. Desde allí también sale una ruta para ir andando que te lleva al otro lado del desfiladero, a la laguna de Taravilla.

Poveda de la Sierra is a charming village located in the Alto Tajo Natural Park. An ideal, of course, to stay in one of their cottages. It is a few minutes walk and you are ready to fall into what is a dam and a beautiful natural waterfall. One of the most photogenic places in the area that causes you incredible sensations. From there also exits a route to walk that takes you across the gorge to Lake Taravilla.

El salto de Póveda se encuentra en el parque natural del alto Tajo, una zona maravillosa, donde poder hacer senderismo y respirar tranquilidad. El entorno del salto es maravilloso, cae en una laguna rodeada de árboles que conforman un maravilloso espectáculo. Por la zona hay mas fuentes y caídas de agua, que se pueden visitar, no muy lejos está el parque natural del bajo tajo, Cuenca. Donde hay muchos recorridos para hacer senderismo y deportes, como piraguas o similar, en plan tranquilo porque las aguas no llevan mucha fuerza.

Es una auténtica pasada. Incluso ahora que el río lleva muy poca agua, este enclave sigue siendo fantástico. Hay un bar allí mismo para tomar algo y se pueden hacer algunas rutas muy agradables. La laguna de taravilla está allí al lado además.
