Si bien no supe bien como encuadrar las salinas, lo hice en “sitios insólitos” porque hay poca gente interesada en ellas, por lo que no me pareció adecuado hacerlo en “de interés turístico”, a las dos que fuimos nos resultaron interesantes aún cuando no están en los circuitos turísticos, lo que dificultó un poco la obtención de datos, pero como en el dicho “el que busca encuentra” al margen de resultarnos interesantes estéticamente, mucho más interesante nos resultó saber de qué se trataba. Las salinas son espacios naturales con determinadas condiciones que han sido preparados por el hombre para permitir el desarrollo de su ciclo hidrológico regular, como es el caso de estas salinas, y de este modo proporcionar el medio adecuado para el desenvolvimiento de cadenas alimenticias entre varios seres vivos. Aquí se pueden encontrar chirretes y chaparrudos muy jóvenes que pueden vivir en lugares con elevada concentración de sal. Las salinas alimentan a muchas aves acuáticas, particularmente en invierno, a muchas especies de aves orilleras que se alimentan en las orillas embarradas y las acuáticas, la salina el lugar que guarda y conserva su alimento.
