The Church of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul
The church of Saint Vincent de Paul is in the 10th district of Paris, near the East Railway Station. It derives its name from the neighborhood around it. It was built where the home of St. Vincent de Paul once was. It is a historical monument, the building of which started in 1824. Building work was soon terminated due to another revolution in 1830. There are several works of art depicting the saint as a missionary who cares for children and the sick.
