Lovely historical monument
It is strange for a street to have an English name in France. This is the street of Grosse Cloche, home to a lovely historical monument, the ancient city's public bell. If you pass by the door of the Grosse Cloche, you end up on the street Saint James. It was part of the fifteenth century medieval Bordeaux, and the UNESCO World Heritage means it has changed little since then. In the Rue Saint James taste local cuisine in the great restaurants.
