1 review of Saint Boswells

Incredible scenery

An hour from Edinburgh, St Boswell is a very green and beautiful corner of Scotland. Once it was the main road to go to London, but now a faster highway has been built, so it is only for lovers of beautiful scenery who aren't in any great rush. You'll pass a landscape of hills and moors. You can go camping anywhere; the activity is not regulated in Scotland, and in theory, you can pitch your tent in any field because all land is public and people just rent it long-term. Obviously, you should leave the place as you found it, but given the prices of hotels and campsites in Scotland, it's a good idea! And if you can be next to a small lake to wash, even better.

There are very beautiful places to go for a hike, with incredible scenery and trails that aren't too demanding.
