This former monastery, against the current Congregação Nossa Senhora da Caridade, is in the parish of St. Maria Maggiore. It was an all-female convent, founded in the sixteenth century and died out in 1891, although the building is preserved. It's 1 floor occupies the whole block, the entrance of the church is just around the corner. It looks like a typical of Portuguese church, baroque with stone decorative elements on the roof and windows.
