Nestled on a small shaded garden square in the heart of Oxford Street, Whitstable, Saint Alphege's Church is one of the main sights in the town, and should't be missed. Its traditional architecture makes it look like a medieval castle, and it has a simple, wood-framed interior. You can often find jumble sales raising money for charity in the morning outside the church or in the entrance hall, which are a great way to meet the locals.
