Saheliyon Ki Badi

The Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honor 18th century, is a very nice park with many ponds, marble elephants, statues, etc ... It's a very relaxing walk in the garden too bad I did not have much time to enjoy it, so if you do not forget bring yourself mosquito repellent. On our walk we saw a garden that is full of life, people walking, children playing. There was even a bride making a report of her wedding.

Wonderful Gardens

Maravillosos Jardines

A place to take a break and relax while listening to the sound of water: Reaching the Garden of the Maidens or "Saheliyon Ki Bari" dodging a hellish traffic if it's rush hour is an ordeal, but once you get there and you can You get rid of street vendors, you get into a green and refreshing space. Built in the eighteenth century to the maidens of the court, 48 in total that were the escort of a princess of Udaipur as part of her dowry. According to legend the garden was designed by the king himself as proof of his love for the princess. One thing that amuses much to Hindus is to go through a hallway with curtains of water that rise to listen to touch the palms ... all pass palms and stop playing when you want the water stops. The joke was when looking for places to photograph, I came across the "machinery" to the water accionase noise ... A half hidden lord pulling a key to hear palms and closed to cease the noise, put poor face being caught with ice cream cart, I solt me a laugh and continued to look complicidad..y with homework ... !!!! Incredible India !!!

The garden located north of the city is...

The garden located north of the city is a rare quiet place in India. This is probably his only interest, though the place does not lack charm, despite an obvious lack of maintenance. Legend has it that King himself has designed this garden to his queen. As always in India, nothing is free, but in general it is not very expensive. Allow 15-20 rupees per person to enter.
