O.K. certo non è come fare un vero Safari in Africa... ma una visita al safariPark di Pombia è quanto più vicino a quelle emozioni si possa trovare qui nei dintorni. Sicuramente molto meglio che vedere gli animali rinchiusi nelle gabbie dei più classici zoo.
Ci sono stata poco tempo fa con mia cugina e le sue due bambine... e vi assicuro che gli urletti di gioia e di entusiasmo non provenivano soltanto dalle cugine piccole!!!!
Si compra il biglietto e si entra in questo grande parco. Si può decidere di lasciare subito la macchina al parcheggio vicino all'ingresso e cominciare dalle altre attrazioni oppure iniziare direttamente dal giro safari come abbiamo fatto noi.
Nel biglietto d'ingresso sono compresi tutti i safari in macchina che si vogliono fare ed un paio di spettacoli a scelta.
Il parco infatti comprende, oltre al safari, un sacco di attrazioni.
C'è un piccolissimo maneggio di pony dove i bambini potranno fare un giro accompagnati da un genitore (ilgiro si paga, ma costa un paio di euro), la fattoria, un percorso guidato nel bosco, un piccolo parco giurassico (con area pic-nic), acquario, rettilario, insettario, voliera e giostre.
Inoltre ogni ora c'è uno spettacolo. Noi abbiamo visto quello sull'Antica Roma (spettacolo di illusionismo che dell'antica roma ha solo la scenografia) e quello sui rapaci che si è rivelato davvero interessantissimo ed anche molto divertente (peccato io stessi fumando dalla rabbia per la batteria della macchina fotografica esauritasi improvvisamente).
Ovviamente non mancano i negozi di souvenirs ed i punti ristoro. Noi eravamo molto allettati dalla griglieria, ma alla fine abbiamo deciso di mangiare nel piccolo bar con esterno riscaldato subito fuori dal parco. Basta avvisare i ragazzi all'ingresso e si può uscire e rienrare senza problemi.
Un ultimo cenno sul safari: noi lo abbiamo fatto all'ora di pranzo... che purtroppo coincideva anche con l'orario in cui i grossi felini vengono nutriti. leoni e tigri quindi erano un po' lontani, di spalle tutti presi a mangiare. Forse in un altro orario si possono godere meglio.
C'è anche la possibilità, con un piccolo supplemento, di fare il safari col trenino. noi non lo abbiamo provato, ma dev'essere carino!!!
OK not sure how to make a real safari in Africa ... but a visit to Safaripark of Pombia is as close to those emotions we can find around here. Certainly much better than seeing the animals caged in the most classic zoo. I was there recently with my cousin and her two children ... and I assure you that urletti of joy and enthusiasm did not come only from the small cousins!! You buy your ticket and you enter this large park. You may decide to leave the machine immediately next to the entrance to the car park and other attractions begin or start directly from the safari ride as we did. In the ticket price includes all game drives and you want to do a couple of shows to choose from. In fact, the park includes, in addition to the safari, a lot of attractions. There is a small pony where children can take a ride with a parent (ilgiro you pay for, but it costs a couple of euro), the farm, a guided walk in the woods, a small park Jurassic (with pic- nic), aquarium, reptile, insect house, aviary and rides. In addition, there is a show every hour. We have seen that Ancient Rome (show illusion that ancient Rome has only the scenery) and birds of prey that turned out really interesting and amusing (sin I were smoking from anger at the camera battery died out suddenly). Of course there are plenty of souvenir shops and dining options. We were very attracted by the grill, but in the end we decided to eat in the small bar with outdoor heated just outside the park. Just tell the guys at the entrance and you can go out and rienrare without problems. A last remark on safari: we did it at lunch ... which unfortunately coincided with the time when the big cats are fed. lions and tigers so they were a bit 'far, all taken from the back to eat. Perhaps at another time, you can enjoy best. There is also the possibility, for a small fee, to the safari with the train. we have not tried it, but it must be nice!
