Suitable for everyone
One of the hiking trails that can be taken from the Lodge, on the outskirts of Aberfoyle, is called Oak Coppice. This low-difficulty route is suitable for everyone, fairly flat and running for about 3.2 miles. In autumn it's particularly beautiful. The route passes the top of the waterfall, and although it isn't as beautiful as some of the other trails in the area, it offers the chance to see red squirrels, owls and even the occasional deer, if you're lucky!
