Famous for its views
Acharn village is next to Loch Tay, at the foot of the famous Ben Lawers mountain, between Perth and Kenmore. It's famous for its views and has a good selection of paths for hiking and mountaineering. The most popular is the Waterfall Road, which takes about 6 miles to go to the top of the falls. One interesting part of the route is the hermit's cave, where you can see a great landscape with rocks, river and waterfall. Once at the top, the views are spectacular. It's billed as being "for all ages", but the truth is that if there's ice or snow, avoid it. I went with my kids, and it was almost impossible to finish.
