Ruins of Túcume
A kilometre East of Túcume are a vast ruins, the largest in America, but they are in pretty bad shape considering they are from Adobe. They are called "the archaeological site of Purgatory", and they were believed to be the ceremonial centers and places of political importance between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries AD It is 35 km from Chiclayo the city that was later conquered by the Incas and then the Spanish.
