Royal Windsor Hotel Grand Place
The name can be misleading. This 4 star hotel is not located in Grand Place, but very close (less than 5 minute walk), just opposite the Grand Casino Brussels. It is quite a large hotel and is located in a 5-storey building with modern architecture. However, the rooms are made with a classic style consisting of dark wood furniture, and the bed headboard consists of a wall of mirrors with fabric. The room was very well furnished and had a desk, a minibar, safe, TV, air conditioning, and coffee maker with instant coffee and tea. The only thing missing was the free wifi (there was a fee). The bathroom is also very spacious and complete with a large bathtub, hair dryer, magnifying makeup mirror and a full range of amenities.
The breakfast (buffet) is varied and plentiful: there are meats, cheeses, various breads, assorted pastries, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. The hotel has 267 rooms (some are suites), a gym, sauna, conference rooms, business center, restaurant, piano bar, reading room ... Though it is not a cheap hotel: a double room costs about 180€ per night, but it is worth it because it is very well located and the rooms are very comfortable.
