Royal Station Hotel

The Royal Station, as its name suggests, is situated right next to the train station in Newcastle. Overall, it is not the best neighborhood to stay in, but it is only minutes away from many sites like the river Tyne, and I would say that this 3 star hotel is a good option. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert inaugurated it in 1858, and it has been recently renovated and has 144 rooms and suites. There are conference facilities for business travelers, and to relax there is a sports club with an indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and a gym. The restaurant is called the Empire, and serves quality food, and even the people of the city comes here for Sunday brunch.
