A must see
When visiting Ostend, It's difficult to miss the Royal Galleries, along the Albert I promenade. In front of the sea, along the beautiful promenade, the Galeries Royales were built in order to protect the bourgeois from the rain and wind when they went to the Royal Palace racetrack. These galleries are long, spanning almost 400 meters. The Galleries have a neoclassical style, quite symbolic of the early twentieth century as they were built between 1902 and 1906, commissioned by the Belgian King Leopold II.
