Route Two Pilros

Alguno de vosotros quizás se pregunte y eso que es? pues bien los pilros son los correlimos unas aves pequeñas que discurren sobre todo por el litoral de la [poi=11939]Isla de Arosa[/poi], de ahí el nombre de la ruta, "O sendeiro dos pilros". Esta ruta se inicia en el Parque Natural de Punta Carreirón, donde en verano se sitúa la caseta de información y turismo, a la altura de playa Salinas, y en esta ruta nos encontraremos con pequeñas playas y calas, dunas, marismas, lagunas, etc. Un paisaje espectacular antes de empezar la primavera. La ruta de unos 2 o 3 Km. cuenta con observatorios desde los que divisar las aves migratorias que pasan por esta zona. Al pilro o correlimos podemos verlo en las zonas litorales de toda Europa. Se desplazan, se alimentan y se crían siempre en grupo. Suelen alimentarse de todos los moluscos, crustáceos, gusanos, que alcanzan hasta donde llega el tamaño de su pico. Esta ruta nos permite disfrutar también de las magníficas y tranquilas playas de esta zona sur de A Illa de Arousa que seguro no dejarán indiferente a ningún visitante, y prueba de ello me remito a las fotos que tomé recientemente...
