A family of Capybaras
Coming back from San Miguel to the capital of Corrientes, on Route 5 near San Luis del Palmar, we saw a marsh with beautiful vegetation and the stunning sunset in the background and stopped to take some photos. A local recommended we take pictures of a family of Capybaras that hung around the wetland, but as the light was already dim, the animals took refuge in the vegetation and we could only take pictures of the sunset. In another shot you can see these animals so typical of this area, but there isn't much definition. The best thing to do is wlak up and appreciate them with your eyes, not your camera! To the left of the picture, you can see one Capybara who lives there with her partner and their young.
