Small boutique hotel with outdoor tubs and lakes
During my stay in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, I had the ultimate stay at this tiny hotel that is a little cheesy, a little sexy, but very Colonial, with bright colors in a traditional Mexican style, with "hot pink ¨ being one them. It is set in the center of Merida. The interior of the Hotel is still intact, maintaining the same colonial concept and the original design. Of those is of New Spain. The Spanish loved open spaces and natural lighting. To my surprise I found this great little hotel, within the huge variety that there are, with large chains and luxurious hotels. The great thing about this hotel apart from being small are its outdoor tubs, along with its lakes and spectacular and amazing Spa treatments specializes in chocolate which gives it its name.
