The bronze door is original

This circular temple covered with a dome was made in honor of Romulus, son of Maxentius, who died and deified in the fourth century (not to be confused with the founder of Rome). The bronze door is original and is more than 1500 years old! Its preservation is good as it was integrated into the church of St. Cosmas and St. Damian.

On one side we find the Roman Forum Temple of Romulus. This temple was dedicated to Valerius Romulus, son of Maxentius deified. The floor of the building is brick and circular. The bronze door is original. On either side of the building there are four rooms and two elongated niches and apse, preceded by veined marble columns that should house the statues of the Penates.
