Facing the Romerberg buildings we found the Römer that has functioned as a municipality since 1405. On the first floor is the Imperial Hall, where we found portraits in oil of the 52 emperors from 768 until 1806. It has an impressive front, a warm color with gold trim, a "luxury" municipality undoubtedly. Next to this building is the tourist office, with free maps/guides and souvenirs for sale. Metro 4/5, tram line 11/12 Römer.
