Roma Bikesharing

This is an interesting way of seeing Rome. Like many other European cities, Rome has a bike-rental system so you can explore the city without tiring yourself with excess walking. The only downside is that you’ll arrive at some point of interest and not know what to do with the bike since there aren't many bike racks around. To rent a bike, you must first pass by an information stand (you can find them on the website) where they’ll take your information and show you how to rent bikes.

Rome Bikesharing is a new service by the city of Rome. The bikes are open to the public and you can take one and leave it at various designated spots around the city. You pay an annual fee which lets you use them to your heart’s content. It’s perfect for getting around downtown Rome. It’s especially nice in the pedestrian areas where metro construction is impossible due to the incredible amounts of ruins.
