Rocca di Brisighella

La Rocca di Brisighella domina il Borgo sottostante da uno dei tre pinnacoli rocciosi che fanno parte del panorama di questa bellissima cittadella. Costruita nel 1300 de ristrutturata nel 1450, la Rocca si compone di un vigoroso torrione a forma di cilindro, da una torre più bassa e da una cinta muraria. Essa rappresenta un bell'esempio di architettura militare in un periodo a metà tra il Medioevo e il Rinascimento. Per raggiungerla seguite il sentiero giallo che è indicato in due punti del Borgo di Brisighella, sentiero che passando attraverso la natura vi conduce fino all'inizio della Rocca. La Rocca è visitabile con un biglietto unico che include anche la visita al Museo Ugonia di Brisighella: costo unitario di 3 euro. Lì vicino vi sono i resti di una vecchia fornace, impiegata per la lavorazione e la cottura del gesso.

La Rocca Brisighella dominates the village below from one of the three rocky pinnacles that form part of the landscape of this beautiful citadel. Built in 1300 de renovated in 1450, the fortress consists of a vigorous tower-shaped cylinder, a lower tower and a wall. It is a fine example of military architecture in a period somewhere between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. To get there, follow the yellow trail which is indicated in two places of the village of Brisighella, path passing through nature takes you to the beginning of the Rock. The fortress can be visited with a single ticket, which also includes a visit to the Museum of Brisighella Ugonia: unit cost of 3 €. Nearby, there are the remains of an old furnace, used for processing and gypsum baking.
