Dunblane
In the charming medieval town of Dunblane, near the cathedral and by the river (Allan waters, tributary of the River Forth) is a lovely country walk of about two miles. From here there are not only beautiful vistas of the river and the natural surroundings, but also of the historic cathedral. This journey was a pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Dunblane in medieval times, when it was still Catholic country, and is a joy for history lovers because Dunblane Cathedral was one of the most important religious centers in the kingdom . A quiet place to miander, enjoy the scenery (and the sounds of nature)
