Jano Montano
Ritz-Carlton Chicago
Unfortunately I can't say that I've stayed at this hotel, which is one of the most, if not the most luxurious, in Chicago, but my daughter was playing in the park directly in front of it, (Seneca Park) and she had an urgent need to visit the bathroom. Since it was early and the shops were closed, the only option was the Ritz. This hotel is located in the great assembly Water Tower Place , which includes a large shopping center with offices, restaurants, etc. It is in the very center of the city, right next to the Water Tower and the Magnificent Mile.
You won't need to tell anyone it's a five-star hotel, as they've spared no expense on the decor. It's quite minimalist, but extremely luxurious. My son's sudden illness let us get a glimpse inside this amazing hotel, especially the lounge, with a large glass roof lets enjoy an unimaginable view of the skyscrapers around it, especially the John Hancock Tower. We didn't have anything to eat or drink because with kids it wouldn't have been possible, but I highly recommend going to have a romantic drink to enjoy the atmosphere and the views. It's a high-class place, no doubt.
