Italian food at a good price
This restaurant is in Milan, close to the city's central railway station and several metro and tram stops. We chose it for dinner as it was close to our hotel, the Hotel Albert. I didn't think much of the decor, as inside it's very dark. The first thing we noticed was that the owners were Chinese, despite it being an Italian restaurant (not that I have anything against that, but it just seemed a bit strange to see). However, the day before we had dined in another restaurant on the same street, and the same thing happened, so I suspect that most of the establishments in the area are run by Asians.
The menu is quite thorough, with various types of pasta and pizza on offer. We opted for the fettucini with mushrooms and ham. It was pretty good and the portions were ample. The prices were good. Two plates of pasta, 1 bottle of water and a litre jug of house wine and service, for 26 €.
