Ristorante Pizzeria La Cantina

A pochi passi dal parcheggio di Piazza 40 Martiri, lungo Via della Repubblica che conduce verso il centro storico, si trova un delizioso vicolo. Si chiama Via Piccotti e conduce ad un bel ristorante pizzeria, aperto sia a pranzo che a cena. L'ambiente è curato e molto caratteristico, con soffitti e muri in pietra e tavoli ampi e ben apparecchiati. Si mangia molto bene, e si può scegliere tra taglieri di salumi e formaggi, piatti tipici della cucina umbra e pizza (da segnalare perché non frequente, pizza anche a pranzo!). I piatti sono abbondanti e molto gustosi; abbiamo provato personalmente anche la pizza, sottile e croccante, ben condita: insomma un buon locale nel centro di Gubbio. I prezzi sono nella media, non eccessivi anche considerando la qualità dei prodotti. Il personale è gentile, e il servizio è stato davvero veloce, nonostante il locale fosse pieno (per noi con un bimbo piccolo è sempre un valore in più).

A short walk from the parking lot of Piazza 40 Martiri, along Via della Repubblica that leads into the historic center, is a delightful little alley. It's called Via Piccotti and leads to a nice pizza restaurant, open for lunch and dinner. The nice environment and very characteristic, with ceilings and stone walls and spacious tables and well- laid. We eat very well, and you can choose from cold cuts and cheeses, typical Umbrian dishes and pizza (to be reported because infrequent, pizza for lunch!). The dishes are plentiful and very tasty; We also personally tried the pizza, thin, crispy, well-seasoned: in short, a good spot in the center of Gubbio. The prices are average, not excessive considering the quality of the products. The staff were nice, and the service was really fast, despite the local was full (for us with a toddler always a pi value).
