Ristorante Admiral

Ci siamo fermati al ristorante attirati dalla suggestiva terrazza sulle Bocche di Cattaro in quel gioeillo che è Perasto, forse il più bello dei paesi che si affacciano su questa costa tormentata e spettacolare. L'inizio non è stato dei migliori, con tutti gli errori che un ristorante può commettere: siamo stati a lungo lasciati a noi stessi, poi abbiamo scoperto chenon era praticamente disponibile nulla di quello che era indicato sul menù, di fatto inutile. Bisognava invece tener d'occhio lo stesso cameriere che girava con un vassoio col pesce fresco disponibile di giornata. E' su questo che ci siamo giustamente 'buttati', accompagnandolo con un vino locale, sorprendentemente buono (nonostante si trattasse 'solo' di uno Chardonnay, vitigno spesso un po' anonimo). L'attesa è stata estenuante - forse 50 minuti, forse più -, come del resto accade spesso in Montenegro, ma il polipo che mi è stato servito è sicuramente il migliore che abbia mai mangiato. Il tutto non è regalato, ma di sicuro il contesto e il cibo sono di ottimo livello. Di certo non è l'ideale per un pasto veloce!

We stopped at the restaurant attracted by the charming terrace on the Bay of Kotor in the gioeillo Perasto which is perhaps the most beautiful of countries bordering on this coast tormented and spectacular. The beginning was not the best, with all the mistakes you can commit a restaurant: we have been long left to ourselves, then we discovered sure this was virtually nothing available of what was stated on the menu, in fact useless. Instead you had to keep an eye on the same waiter who went around with a tray of fresh fish available to the day. And 'this we rightly' thrown ', accompanied by a local wine, surprisingly good (even though it was' only 'a Chardonnay, a grape often a bit' anonymous). The wait was grueling - maybe 50 minutes, maybe more - as indeed is often the case in Montenegro, but the octopus that I was served was definitely the best I've ever eaten. The whole is not given, but for sure the context and the food are excellent. Of course it is not ideal for a quick meal!
